Career Transition Support

Our career transition support services are provided by a team that includes members from every generation – school leavers to semi-retired executives so you can always be assured we have appropriate advice and guidance. We aim to solve several problems people face with career decisions. Initially, the advice provided at school and college may not always be up-to-date. It may not be advised based on any natural skills, interests, and abilities assessment. When people are in their careers, it is sometimes hard to find objective, independent advice on the best next steps (remembering that the best next step may be within the current workplace). For people who are considering getting ready for more senior positions, we can guide and develop. And when people are ready (or feel they are ready) to take the plunge into senior leadership roles, finding the right guidance can be critical. We do not aim to provide all the answers – sometimes we will refer you to others who are better suited to your specific situation.

Deciding Your Next Career Move

This service is designed to help you decide among the many possibilities for a career. You may have some ideas or none at all. We can work with you and develop a plan that suits you wherever you’re at.

Making Your Next Career Move

With the benefit of some work experience, you probably have an idea of where you want to go. Our service is designed to help focus those thoughts and test out some possibilities before making a switch.

Preparing For Senior-Level Moves

This service is for people who are at least 15 years into their careers. You may know the exact path you wish to tread, but you could also be burned out and wondering if you are on the right path. We can address both.

Public Mentoring

Our Achievement Academy coaches provide public webinars facilitated by one of our team members and designed to address the questions from participants. We also have planned agenda sessions where people with similar needs are grouped and learn from each other as well as from the career coach.

  • Regular public mentoring using Zoom
  • Highly cost-effective
  • Learn as a group
  • Access to private online assessments to help you make decisions

Private Mentoring

An Achievement Academy coach will work with you to plan an agenda of issues to cover. You will have a primary coach, but we may assign other coaches when particular expertise or experiences are called for. The learning is unique to you, but you can also participate in the public sessions when you feel there might benefit from listening to others in a similar position.

  • Mentoring scheduled around you
  • Cost-effective and flexible
  • Learn alone or with a friend/colleague (no more than two)
  • Full suite of online assessments with specific feedback sessions from the coaches

Aspirational Assessments

For those that don’t want to attend the mentoring or coaching, or just can’t spare the time, we have a full series of online resources including our assessments. These have been designed to guide you into areas where your natural skills, experiences, and desires suggest you’d be best employed. From there, research will lead you to the right career path.

  • Completely self-directed, with supporting resources
  • Exceptionally cost-effective
  • Learn alone, but with access to a mentor when needed

Private Coaching

Our coaching service is for people who know where they need to go, or what they need to do and we help them get there as quickly and efficiently as possible. With so much conflicting information and possibilities in the market, having a guide who is there to get you through it can be invaluable. False starts can be expensive, especially in the more senior career moves.

  • A coach who will guide, and hold you to account for progress
  • Specialists in cross-industry transfers
  • Public to private industry transfers and vice-versa
  • Transfers within industry, but in a different country or state
  • Local transfers where the competition may be very strong
